I don’t need the second job as we have almost no expenses, but all the expenses coming up here soon have me anxious when I’m at home playing Xbox and I haven’t done anything to help get myself farther ahead then just my salary. So AMA.

Two job solidarity! We don’t really need it either but I want to get our debt down before we buy a new house so I’m picking up an extra 10 hours a week or so at the company I used to work full time for. My question is, how do you keep from burning out? I’ve been at it for nine months and I’m starting to lose it.

I’m at 2 weeks but my day job is a corporate accountant and my night job is a server at a pizza place. 2 completely different mind sets so hopefully I don’t get burned out too bad. It’s kind of fun to have interaction after having stared at excel all day. I don’t know how long I’ll work 2 jobs anyways. We have no debt but we’re trying to get a house, dog, and then car, all in the next 4-5 months so lord help us.

Yeah it’s kind of relaxing and crazy at the same time. So far, not bad. Also the place I’m working asecond job is super flexible with hours. I can not work at all or work every day.
